AppTweak Pricing at a Glance

AppTweak publishes its prices, which already puts it ahead of most of the ASO market. The catch is that the number you see on the pricing page covers one product line out of five, and the entry tier is metered tightly enough that most teams discover the real cost only after they've started tracking keywords.

Here is the current ASO Intelligence lineup, taken from apptweak.com/pricing in July 2026:

PlanMonthlyAnnualKeywordsSeatsHistory
Essential$79$94950016 months
Grow$299$3,5901,500112 months
Grow Plus$549$6,5903,000124 months
EnterpriseContact salesCustomCustomCustomAll-time

Every paid tier includes a 7-day free trial and is marked cancel-anytime.

A note on currency: AppTweak geo-prices. The US view shows the dollar figures above; European visitors see a euro price list where the entry tier is also 79 but the mid tiers differ (€249 for Grow rather than $299). Check which list you're being shown before comparing against dollar-priced tools — and if you're quoted in euros, the mid-tier is meaningfully cheaper than the US price.

Two things stand out immediately. First, every published tier is single-seat except Enterprise — Grow Plus at $549/month still gives you one login. Second, the jump from Essential to Grow is nearly 4x the price for 3x the keywords, so scaling costs you more per keyword rather than less.

What the Sticker Price Doesn't Cover

AppTweak sells five separate product lines. ASO Intelligence is the one with public pricing. The others — Campaign Manager (Apple Ads management), App Reviews Manager, Market Intelligence (download and revenue estimates), and API access — are listed on the same pricing page without prices, which means a sales conversation.

This matters more than it sounds. Market Intelligence is the module that answers "how many downloads does my competitor get," which is what most people picture when they imagine an ASO platform. If that's what you're shopping for, the $79 Essential plan does not include it, and the quoted price for adding it is not public.

The practical result: teams budget $79/month, then find that the workflow they had in mind spans two or three modules. I've seen the effective cost land in the $250–500/month range often enough that I'd treat the published entry price as a floor rather than an estimate.

API access is a separate line item. If your plan involves pulling AppTweak data into a dashboard, a spreadsheet pipeline, or an AI agent, that is a sales-gated add-on on top of your subscription — not something you can turn on from account settings.

Is AppTweak Essential Enough?

This is the question I get asked most, and the honest answer depends on one number: how many keywords you actually track.

500 keywords sounds generous until you count properly. A single app tracked across three countries with 60 keywords each is 180. Add two competitors' keyword sets for gap analysis and you're at the cap. Teams running a portfolio of small apps — which is most indie developers — hit 500 faster than teams running one large app.

Essential is genuinely enough if: you have one or two apps, you focus on one or two storefronts, and you're doing periodic optimization rather than continuous tracking.

Essential runs out if: you manage a portfolio, you localize across more than a handful of markets, or you want history longer than six months. That six-month window is the underrated constraint — seasonal analysis and year-over-year comparisons need twelve, and that is the $299 tier.

AppTweak vs the Alternatives on Price

Here's where AppTweak sits against the tools it's most often compared with. All figures are from each vendor's public pricing page in July 2026; entries marked "no public pricing" mean exactly that.

ToolEntry priceKeywords at entryAPI includedFree trial
AppTweak$79/mo500No — sales-gated7 days
App Radar€69/mo500No — €199/mo add-on7 days
MobileAction$69/mo Basic500No — contact sales7 days

Sensor TowerNo public pricingEnterprise add-onNo
FoxData$9.90/mo Starter90Not stated7 days
Sonar$19/moUnlimitedYes, all plans7 days

The 500-keyword entry tier is remarkably consistent across the category — AppTweak, App Radar, MobileAction, and ASOMobile all land there. That's not a coincidence; it's the industry's standard way to segment indie developers from studios.

Where Sonar Fits

I build Sonar, so treat this section as what it is — but the pricing comparison is factual and you can verify every number.

Sonar is $19/month or $149/year, with unlimited keywords, unlimited apps, unlimited countries, and unlimited history. There is no metering to plan around, which removes the exercise of estimating your keyword count before you know what you'll need to track. The REST API, CLI, and MCP server are included on every plan rather than sold as add-ons — that last one matters if you want ASO data inside Claude or Cursor.

What Sonar doesn't do: ad intelligence, download and revenue estimates, or review reply management. AppTweak's Market Intelligence and Reviews Manager have no Sonar equivalent, and I'm not planning to build them. If competitor download estimates drive your decisions, AppTweak or Sensor Tower are the right tools and the price is the price.

The honest trade: Sonar is a younger product with a shallower historical dataset. AppTweak has been collecting since 2014. If you need 2019 keyword history, that's not a feature gap I can close with a discount.

How to Decide

Pick AppTweak Essential if you need one polished ASO workspace, you're under 500 keywords, and six months of history covers your analysis. $79/month for a mature product with good keyword data is a fair price.

Pick AppTweak Grow or Grow Plus if you're an agency or a studio where the tool cost is small relative to the app revenue it protects. At $299–549/month you are buying depth and history, and the per-keyword economics stop mattering.

Look elsewhere if you hit any of these: you need API access without a sales call, you're tracking more than 500 keywords on an indie budget, you need more than one seat below the Enterprise tier, or your workflow is script- and agent-driven rather than dashboard-driven.

Whatever you land on, start with the trials. AppTweak, App Radar, MobileAction, and Sonar all offer 7 days free — a week of parallel use tells you more about keyword data quality than any comparison table, including this one. See our ASO free trial guide for what each trial actually includes and which ones need a credit card.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does AppTweak cost per month?

A: On the US price list, AppTweak ASO Intelligence costs $79/month for Essential (500 keywords, 1 seat, 6 months of history), $299/month for Grow (1,500 keywords, 12 months), and $549/month for Grow Plus (3,000 keywords, 24 months), per apptweak.com/pricing. Annual billing is $949, $3,590, and $6,590 respectively. Enterprise requires contacting sales. European visitors see a euro list with the same entry price (€79) but cheaper mid tiers (€249 for Grow).

Q: Does AppTweak have a free trial?

A: Yes — 7 days on the ASO Intelligence plans. There is no permanent free tier. If you want a free tier rather than a trial, App Radar and ASOMobile both offer one, and Sonar's free tools (ASO score checker and keyword generator) work without an account.

Q: Is AppTweak's API included in the subscription?

A: No. API access is listed as a separate product on AppTweak's pricing page with no published price, so it requires a sales conversation on top of your ASO Intelligence subscription. If API access matters, compare against tools that bundle it — App Radar sells it as a €199/month add-on, and Sonar includes it on all plans at 1,000 requests/day.

Q: What's the difference between AppTweak Essential and Grow?

A: Essential is $79/month with 500 keywords and 6 months of history. Grow is $299/month with 1,500 keywords and 12 months of history. Both are single-seat. The 12-month history in Grow is what unlocks year-over-year and seasonal analysis — usually the real reason teams upgrade, more than the keyword cap.

Q: Is AppTweak worth it for indie developers?

A: For most indie developers, $79/month is hard to justify against app revenue, especially since it's single-seat, capped at 500 keywords, and excludes API access and market intelligence. AppTweak earns its price for agencies and funded studios where the subscription is a rounding error against ad spend. Indie developers running a few small apps generally get further with a cheaper unmetered tool — see our best ASO tools comparison for the full range.

Q: Are AppTweak's prices in euros or dollars?

A: Both — AppTweak is a Belgian company that geo-prices, so what you see depends on where you're browsing from. The US list is $79 / $299 / $549 per month; the European list is €79 / €249 / €499. The entry tier matches at 79, but the euro mid tier is meaningfully cheaper than the dollar one, so it's worth confirming which list applies to you before comparing against dollar-priced tools like MobileAction or Sonar.
