Set up Sonar in ChatGPT

Open the Sonar app, connect it and sign in — no API key. Once connected, ChatGPT can look up apps, research keywords, audit ASO, mine reviews, and estimate revenue — live from the App Store and Google Play.

Add Sonar and sign in — no API key

ChatGPT connects to the hosted Sonar server through the Sonar app, and you sign in with your Sonar account — nothing to install, no key to copy. No account yet? Start a free trial. Sonar is an app in ChatGPT, so there's no URL or config to add:

  1. Open the Sonar app in ChatGPT.
  2. Connect it to your ChatGPT account.
  3. Sign in with your Sonar account when ChatGPT asks. Sonar uses the workspace you own.
Open Sonar in ChatGPT

Before you sign in, ChatGPT can already use Sonar's free research tools (app lookup, app search, ASO score, keyword extraction, keyword suggestions, keyword metrics and top charts) within daily limits. Your tracked apps, rankings and keyword tracking need the sign-in.

Verify it works

Start a new chat and paste the prompt below — it names Sonar, so ChatGPT uses the app's tools.

Try this first prompt

Use Sonar to run an ASO audit on Duolingo on iOS in the US store. Summarize the score and the top 3 fixes you'd make first.

What you get back: a 0–100 ASO score with itemized checks, turned into a prioritized fix list by your AI.

Connected? Raid the prompt library.

Copy-paste prompts for keyword gaps, review mining, ASO audits, localization, and launch tracking — they work as-is in ChatGPT. On the Indie plan, AI can even set up your workspace — add your app, link competitors, track keywords.
