FoxData Pricing in 2026

FoxData publishes four tiers with visible limits — no sales call required to see what you'd pay. Current pricing from foxdata.com/en/pricing, July 2026:

PlanMonthlySeatsAppsKeywordsCompetitors
Starter$9.90139010
Standard$5911050050
Growth$1593201,500200
EnterpriseTalk to salesCustomCustomCustomCustom

Billing runs monthly, quarterly (5% off), or yearly (15% off). All three paid tiers start with a 7-day free trial and are marked cancel-anytime. Growth is flagged "Best Value" on the page.

At 15% off, annual billing works out to roughly $8.42/month for Starter, $50.15 for Standard, and $135.15 for Growth — about $101, $602, and $1,622 per year respectively. That 15% is on the low side for the category; ASOMobile discounts 20% annually, and App Radar and MobileAction both effectively give around 17%.

Where FoxData Is Actually Competitive

Having now compared every published ASO pricing page in this market, FoxData's Growth tier is the best-value mid-tier available, and it's not close:

Mid-tier planPriceKeywordsSeatsApps
FoxData Growth$159/mo1,500320
App Radar Growth€169/mo1,500210
MobileAction Pro$239/mo1,500310
AppTweak Grow$299/mo1,5001Not headlined

Every one of those gives you 1,500 keywords. FoxData gives you double the apps of the nearest competitor and three seats, at the lowest price of the four. AppTweak charges 88% more for the same keyword allowance with a single seat.

The Standard tier at $59 is similarly well-positioned: same price as ASOMobile's Indie plan but with 10 apps instead of 5, and cheaper than AppTweak Essential ($79) and App Radar Essentials (€69) while beating both on app count.

Starter at $9.90 is the second-cheapest entry point in the category, behind only Astro's $9/month Mac app. Against MobileAction Lite ($15, 100 keywords, 5 apps), it's cheaper with slightly fewer keywords and fewer apps. Both are monitoring tiers rather than research tiers — 90 keywords covers about one app in one storefront.

Where the Limits Bite

Single seat until Growth. Starter and Standard are both one login. If you're two people, you're at $159/month — though at that price you get three seats, which is more than App Radar gives you at €169.

90 keywords on Starter is genuinely tight. One app across two storefronts at 45 keywords each and you're done. Treat Starter as "watch a few apps," not "do keyword research."

Competitor caps scale with the tier (10 / 50 / 200). For gap analysis this often binds before the keyword count does, especially on Starter.

What's Bundled — and Why That Matters

FoxData's positioning is breadth. Beyond ASO keyword tooling, the platform spans ad creative intelligence, estimated downloads and revenue, review management with AI summaries and replies, Apple Search Ads analytics, CPPs, demographics, retention, and a separate App Store Data API product.

That breadth is the thing to think hardest about. If you'll use the ad intelligence and market estimates, the bundled price is good — you'd pay AppTweak or Sensor Tower considerably more for the equivalent modules, and most of them are sales-gated add-ons rather than included.

If you only need keyword research, difficulty, and rank tracking, you're paying for a platform whose distinguishing features you won't open. That's the same trade our FoxData alternatives comparison works through in feature-by-feature detail.

Note on the API: FoxData lists API access as a platform feature and markets an App Store Data API as its own solution. Which tiers include it, and at what request volume, isn't stated on the pricing table — worth confirming before you buy if programmatic access is the point.

Where Sonar Fits

Disclosure: I build Sonar. FoxData is a real competitor and the comparison below is factual.

Sonar is $19/month or $149/year with no metering — unlimited keywords, apps, countries, and history. The REST API, CLI, and MCP server are included on every plan at 1,000 requests/day.

Against FoxData Starter ($9.90, 90 keywords, 3 apps), Sonar costs about twice as much and removes every cap. Against Standard ($59, 500 keywords), Sonar is a third of the price with no keyword ceiling. Against Growth ($159), FoxData wins if you need the breadth — three seats, ad intelligence, revenue estimates — and Sonar wins if you don't.

What FoxData does that Sonar doesn't: ad creative intelligence, download and revenue estimates, demographics and retention analysis, review reply management, Steam data. None of those have a Sonar equivalent and I'm not building them. If they're why you're evaluating FoxData, Sonar isn't a substitute at any price.

How to Decide

FoxData Starter at $9.90 if you want cheap monitoring of a few apps and 90 keywords is genuinely enough. Check that number against your real keyword list first — it's the tightest cap on this page.

FoxData Standard at $59 if you want 10 apps and don't need a second seat. It's better value than ASOMobile, App Radar, and AppTweak at the same tier.

FoxData Growth at $159 if you're a small team. This is the strongest value in the mid-tier across the whole market — three seats and 20 apps for less than competitors charge for one seat and 10.

Something else if you only need core ASO on an indie budget, in which case you're funding a breadth you won't use, or if you need documented API access at the entry tier.

Start with the 7-day trial either way. See the ASO free trial guide for what each competing trial includes, and the best ASO tools comparison for the full market.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does FoxData cost per month?

A: FoxData costs $9.90/month for Starter (3 apps, 90 keywords, 1 seat), $59/month for Standard (10 apps, 500 keywords, 1 seat), and $159/month for Growth (20 apps, 1,500 keywords, 3 seats), per foxdata.com/en/pricing. Enterprise is custom-quoted. Quarterly billing takes 5% off and yearly takes 15% off, bringing Standard to about $50/month.

Q: Does FoxData have a free trial?

A: Yes — a 7-day free trial on all three paid tiers, marked cancel-anytime. That matches the category standard; ASOMobile's 3 days is the notable outlier on the short end.

Q: Is FoxData cheaper than AppTweak?

A: Yes, at every comparable tier. FoxData Standard is $59 for 500 keywords and 10 apps versus AppTweak Essential at $79 for 500 keywords (AppTweak does not headline an app cap). FoxData Growth is $159 for 1,500 keywords, 20 apps, and 3 seats versus AppTweak Grow at $299 for 1,500 keywords and 1 seat — 88% more, with one seat instead of three.

Q: What's the difference between FoxData Starter and Standard?

A: Starter is $9.90/month with 3 apps, 90 keywords, and 10 competitors. Standard is $59/month with 10 apps, 500 keywords, and 50 competitors. Both are single-seat. The 90-keyword cap is the practical divider — it covers roughly one app in one storefront, so Starter suits monitoring while Standard suits actual keyword research.

Q: Does FoxData include API access?

A: API access is listed as a platform feature and FoxData markets a separate App Store Data API solution, but the pricing table doesn't state which tiers include it or at what request volume. Confirm before buying if that's your use case. For comparison, Sonar includes 1,000 requests/day on all plans and ASOMobile bundles API credits from its entry tier.

Q: Is FoxData worth it for indie developers?

A: Starter at $9.90/month is one of the cheapest legitimate entries into a full ASO platform, so the price is defensible. The question is whether you'll use the breadth — ad intelligence, revenue estimates, demographics — that FoxData bundles and prices for. If you only need keyword research and rank tracking, a focused unmetered tool covers it without the platform premium. See our best ASO tools comparison for the alternatives.
